Rent A Friend / The Rented Friend |
Synopsis Peter works for a company, which sells friendship. It has nothing to do with sex, but it's a service, which claims to be more than just accompaniment. It promises real friendship. This lie which is the basis of his job and the facing of all these broken and lonely people have turned Peter himself into a mental wreck by time. A chain of incidents begin to lead him to his own disaster. As he still tries to function everything gets more and more out of control. Like all the people he meets all his actions are just caused by his search for love and shelter. But their pain and distrust lead them wrong. Peter has to discover that he is just like them. Like in a dance people meet while they don't meet. A dance of lonely souls, which easily just could have taken each other by their hands to move together out of the shadow of pain. |
